We are looking for a designer who is looking to augment their existing workload. You are passionate about website design and keep current on trends and technology.
Responsibilities for this position include:
- Mockup design and layout of websites and E-Commerce sites
- Develop behaviour specifications to guide the web development of your pixel-perfect designs
- Development of creative interpretations of technical documents using schematics and infographics
- Analyzing design performance and coming up with design enhancements
- Development of icons if required
- Creation of web graphics for responsive design
- Other web and design support
Experience in the following design environments would be an asset:
- HTML, CSS, JavaScript Qualifications/Competencies:
- High proficiency in Illustrator and Figma.
- A diploma/degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, or Web Development from a recognized educational institution
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- One to three years of experience as a web designer/graphic designer in an agency or as an in-house designer would be an asset
